Dyon – Is the Founder of Julian’s House a 501(c)3 non-profit, a father of a special needs son, an IT manager and a U.S Air Force Veteran.
When approached to be the President of Special Champions Organization he gladly accepted because he knew the vision, and understood the mission we are working to accomplish with the communities we serve.
He started his own non-profit organization Julian’s House over a year ago to help families with Special Needs Adult children. He understood that upon aging out of high school that there where limited places for them to attend. so when when BMC decided to downsize there IT staff he stepped right into where he needed to be. He has always been passionate about the needs of our children. It has not been easy to build Julian’s House, but it has been worth it to make the difference needed. We truly welcome Mr. Dyon Crawford as our new President of the Board of Special Champions Organization. ”
Zoey (JV) Matthews
Zoey – Is a wife and mother of 2 beautiful children. Zoey is also a Licensed Minister and Entrepreneur. She founded “True 2 Yourself Natural Care Products” for skin and hair and currently owns and operates an in-home daycare. Being a mother of a special needs child herself has enlightened her and given her the passion and vigor for others who are enduring similar challenges.
She’s compassionate and caring. She is ready for whatever comes her way; meeting the challenges head-on. Truly helping someone is her best reward.
Ariana P. Thompson
Ariana – Is a recent graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy as well as a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and Marketing. Ariana is an active alumni volunteer in a leadership capacity, helping and advising college students in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She loves to help people in anyway she can and truly embodies empathy and compassion for others. It is her passion for making a difference that drives her to give her all in everything she does.
Wanda – Is a licensed real estate agent. She decided that after working in the oil industry for more than 10 years and being laid off to start her first home focused business, Executive Maid Services performing residential cleaning along with residential/commercial make ready services. In 1995 she became a licensed Texas Real Estate Inspector where she learned about the structural, mechanical and environmental aspects of residential real estate. In 2014 she turned her focus on working with real estate buyers and seller and became a licensed Sales Agent. In 2018, the decision to broaden her knowledge of Real Estate, she became a Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI), and obtained her Master’s Degree of Real Estate and a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES). As a business owner she understands the value of working with families and helping to meet their needs. Wanda believes in giving back and because of her dedication to helping others makes her a valuable asset to the board.
